Light Every Which Way

One good thing about the fires is that our sunsets and general diffusion of light especially after dark has been breathtaking.  Case in point, last night I went to the Greek theater see the Pretenders with Cat Power opening the set and caught a an amazing frame leaving the parking lot.  The concert was amazing.  It went from the sultry, moody blues in which Cat Power is a true master to a frenzied performance by Pretenders which had the crowd in an uproar.  I danced my head off.  More importantly, though…I snuck my camera in the venue, which is really not allowed…and discovered a magical ATM booth with enough fluorescent to make any flash ring pale in comparison. My poor friend had to put up with me and the obsession to catch a perfect feather around her face.  Thank you, darling! It was so worth it.
