Florida Dreaming

I reconnected with a dear aunt last year after an almost ten year absence.  She lives in Florida and made my introduction to the state so special.  The consequence of which will be a Florida that is forever dear to my heart.  I look forward to every visit and had a brief visit in the Everglades, which I hope to repeat soon for more of what I understand to be a place like no other in the world.  It’s so sad to see that region struggle, and if you know anything about the current efforts to preserve the natural ecosystem you’ll know how dire the circumstances are.  Animals are becoming extinct with every season and there are great people working to work things out so that we can continue to enjoy this magnificent habitat.

I’ll have some more after-thoughts from Florida soon, but in the meantime here is a little session with a great lady…All clad in polkadots and yellow stripes.
