Hello New Year, hello new beginnings. It's been nearly 5 years since I took the time time to publish my work in any formal context and much longer still to update my photography website. I stepped away from shooting due to an injury and pursued other priorities, which at the time seemed so unfair. In retrospect, I see how this distance is critical to developing a fresh perspective and a stronger voice. I look forward to picking up where I left off and a new year of photography adventures.
In the meantime I'll be posting an updated body of work on here and of course some of the older work I'm still very proud of and consider relevant going forward. All my images are a loosely held conversation with people, objects and places that move me in small and big ways...or just help improve my skillset and get better at the technical aspects of this magnificent medium. By far the greatest gift of photography in my life has been its ability to help me feel in a world that demands so much rational thought and to keep opening my heart where it wants to hide. If you followed my work before, welcome back. And if this is our first time meeting thank you for joining me on this journey.
